Name Shortlist reads the brief you send about a business you are starting. This page says what happens to it.

What we keep, and for how long

Your form answers and the finished shortlist are kept for 45 days after delivery so we can send the free extra ten if you ask, then deleted. Your email address is kept only to send you the payment link and the shortlist; if you asked for the sample by email, it is kept for those emails until you reply “stop” or click the unsubscribe line.

What we never do

We never publish your brief or your shortlist, never register a domain, a handle or a mark in any name, never contact anyone on your behalf, never sell or share your details, and never reuse the names we wrote for you for anyone else.

Payment

You get an order code on the site and a card payment link by email. We see the order code and the email the receipt went to, not your card details.

Analytics

The site counts visits with a cookie-free analytics script. No personal data is collected by it.
